Christian Counseling at Elevate Healthcare Group
Elevate Healthcare Group offers two kinds of Christian counseling. Licensed Christian counseling is therapy with a licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professional who is trained in Christian counseling and integrates your faith into evidence-based care. Faith-based Christian counseling is biblical guidance and spiritual support from a board-certified Christian counselor. Every new client begins with an assessment by a licensed clinician, who recommends the path that best fits your needs. This is a private, self-pay counseling service.
- Faith-based sessions from $65. Licensed therapy sessions from $90. New clients begin with an initial assessment.

Types of Christian Counseling We Offer
We offer counseling services from two types of professionals to meet your specific needs:
Licensed Christian Counseling
Therapy with a licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professional who is trained in Christian counseling and integrates your faith into evidence-based care. This path is recommended when there are mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges.
Board-Certified Christian Counseling
Biblical guidance and spiritual support from a board-certified Christian counselor, focused on Scripture-based encouragement, spiritual growth, and faith-aligned guidance. Board-certified Christian counselors are not licensed mental health professionals and do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Good Faith Estimate: You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. Ask us for one before scheduling, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Not for emergencies: Our services are not a crisis service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Licensed Mental Health Professionals and Board Certified Christian Counselors?
Licensed and provisionally licensed mental health professionals are trained and licensed to provide therapy for mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our licensed professionals are also trained in Christian counseling and integrate your faith into their care. Board-certified Christian counselors provide biblical guidance, encouragement, and spiritual support. They are not licensed mental health professionals and do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. During your initial assessment, a licensed clinician explains these options and recommends the one that best fits your needs. The final choice is always yours.
Is Christian Counseling only for Christians?
No! While our counseling is rooted in Christian principles, we welcome anyone interested in exploring faith-based guidance as part of their mental health journey.
What if I don’t feel comfortable after the first session?
Your comfort is our priority. If you feel your counselor isn’t the right fit, let us know and we will help you find someone better suited to your needs.
How does pricing work?
Elevate Healthcare Group is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance. New clients begin with an initial assessment ($160 individual, $200 couples, $225 family). After that, you pay per session based on the service and provider type. See our current rates. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your first session.
Is Christian Counseling confidential?
Absolutely. We adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality standards to ensure your information is protected.
